MagnumOne Realty
Internship Program April 26, 2008 Company Background MagnumOne
Realty is full service real estate Company serving the needs of buyers and sellers of residential property in the greater
Sacramento area. The company was formed by Julie and Michael Jalone in late 2007
to enable them to provide the customized individual service to clients and other agents that today’s real estate market
demands. In addition, having their own company furthers their desire to develop
and mentor agents and staff. One
of the driving missions of MagnumOne Realty is to bring together a group of professional agents who by working together will
increase the success of their individual businesses. “We want to help you
grow your business not tell you how to run it,” says Julie when she is talking to potential new agents. “Working together allows us to support each other, share individual successes and back each other
up when someone wants to take some well deserved time off.” Intern Program As
a new and growing company with a development orientated management team it seems natural to provide a student with an opportunity
to learn about a wide range of real estate and business functions that will assist them with their current studies as well
as provide a lifelong experience. The
successful intern will learn about the real estate industry, the local real estate market, and how to complete a real estate
transaction from start to finish. In addition they will have an opportunity to
use the professional tools of a Realtor such as the Multiple Listing Service, online contracts and disclosures and other computer
based programs. They will obtain a working knowledge of real estate fundamentals,
regulations and laws. In other words they will get the fundamental education
in real estate you do not learn when studying for and taking the tests to obtain a real estate license. In addition they will gain firsthand experience on the business side of real estate including marketing,
advertising and documentation of a real estate transaction. Finally they will
have opportunities to work with more than one agent, meet with clients and deal with a variety of people. The
objective of the MagnumOne Intern Program is to provide an opportunity for a student who may be interested in a real estate
career or a student who wants to learn more about real estate to see and experience the day to day activities of a successful
Realtor. In return we expect to learn from the student, to be challenged
by their questions and develop a long term relationship regardless if the student enters the real estate industry. Intern Position Description Overview: The intern will initially work directly with Senior Executive
Associate and Realtor, Julie Jalone. This will primarily be focused on client
services including but not limited to meetings, showings and providing feedback to clients and other agents. In addition the Intern will have an opportunity to work on marketing, back room functions, training and
documentation. There will be one project assigned to the Intern, undetermined
at this time, but focused on either client research or organization process. Over
the course of their employment they will have an opportunity to work with other agents and staff to understand how individual
agents approach the business differently. Qualifications: · Minimum of one year of college level classes
