About Me:

I have lived in Orangevale since 1998 and love the area.  Prior to that I lived in Santa Cruz for a very long time!  My husband Jim is a teacher at Folsom High School and we have 4 children.  Daughter Jennifer lives in Santa Cruz with her husband and two boys.  Son James lives in Orangevale with his fiancé Sarah, middle son Jayme lives in Folsom with his girlfriend Hannah and our youngest son is home with us and going to Sierra College.

We have always been very involved parents with our children's school and sports - so I understand the importance of being in a neighborhood with both good schools and good programs.

My husband and I enjoy running, biking, camping, backpacking and gardening.  We are pretty active and hope to stay that way!  Jim's latest love is getting back into surfing - which of course means lots of trips to see our daughter & grandkidlets - he surfs - I play!

I joined the MagnumOne family about a year and a half ago - and am very happy.  They are honest and real - and have taught me so much.  They are one of the few companies that really do understand the ins and outs of Short Sales and have been very successful in closing most all of them.  Of course that is not all our company does - but it is good to be one of the best at what you do - and I feel very fortunate to have found them!

I have been a Realtor for almost 2 years - however, prior to that I was a Broker assistant for 2 years and a Mortgage Broker for 12 years.  Having experience is different aspects of real estate and the housing market makes be a better Realtor.  I understand and can help with the complexities of getting a loan and can help make a difficult process easier and smoother.

I have an Associate in Business degree and have had my Real Estate license for over 12 years.  Taken countless classes - and continue to learn more and more as this is definitely a business that is ever changing.  In addition being a Realtor, I am also my broker’s assistant and the Compliance Manager for MagnumOne Realty.  It is a nice balance and allows me to keep up on the latest changes in the industry.

I feel that working with all aspects of the business is amazing - from the first time home buyers - to the move up home buyer - and then to downsizing.  I understand the transition in each of these as I have experienced two of the three - and will be an empty nester myself shortly - can see the need of downsizing.  In addition, as I mentioned above our company has expertise in helping homeowners avoid foreclosure by using the short sale strategy and doing normal sale short sales where a homeowner needs to sell for various reasons and the house is worth less than they owe.  Finally, investing is also a major part of our business - my father who I adored was a property and business investor and even at an early age I learned the value of looking out for the future.
